Indoor pollution is one of the most dangerous problems we are facing in the world today. Since it cannot be seen with the naked eye, the majority of people remain uninformed about this ongoing problem, and no action is taken to prevent it. In terms of design, the concept of this book is based on the fact that you cannot see this problem, but it is right in front of you. The typeface used is Avenir to send out an alert. Throughout the whole book, the type and graphics will take up more and more space to simulate the pollution that is building up quietly inside the home. So be alert or your love ones will be next!

Do you know that all the landfills in the world might be full by 2010? If that happens then where will all the billion tons of garbage each day go? Also do you know that 50% of landfill consists of paper?
People nowadays often use paper in whatever ways that make their life most convenient, regardless of the effects to the environment. Therefore, this book is design to educate the public about the cause and effect of paper consumption and also to encourage them to think before throwing a piece
of paper away next time. Inside this book, there are many solutions which can help an individual make a difference recycling paper.
In terms of design, the book has more of a mass production finish with all of the registration marks still visible as if it is being rushed to the production line without the thought of conservation. The color pallet started with a muddy green and progressed to a fresh green toward the solution part at the end of the book. Also, to promote recycling this book is printed on recycled paper stock.
This project is a magazine redesign, and the magazine chosen was “PRINT”. It has been redesigned with an edgy, fresh look. The color is much more lively and the typography is much more sleek and innovative in order to attract all types of designer who are looking for something new and different. The color pallet is pretty much kept in a fresh range, keeping the sophisticated design in a contemporary look. Some type is vertical to create contrast and edginess. So freshen up and get inspired!
